  Meet the team

My name is Colin, I manage the Ryde store. The town has a great selection of independent shops, bars and eateries and it’s good to be part of that community. I have been working for the hospice managing the shop since 2009 and it’s good to be part of an organisation which provides valuable support to so many people. I’m a keen cyclist, one of those odd people who think that riding a bike for hours is enjoyable!

I'm Alex and I started working for the hospice in July 2011 in the Ryde store working with Colin.  I work for the hospice because 6 years ago my grandad died from cancer in the hospice and I wanted to make a difference.  I do many roles within my volunteer work for the hospice and am very keen to learn new things I have branched off to work in different branches and only have 3 to go for a complete set!

"They look after you and they're so caring. I'm not frightened of dying."
