Registered Nurses

New Mountbatten Care Coordination Centre

Salary £22,128 to £28,746 (AfC Band 5)

Various hours are available, applications are welcome for either full-time, part-time, job share or flexible working 

We are looking for NMC registered Nurses who have experience of providing palliative care in either a Hospital, Hospice or Community setting.  You will predominantly be based in our hospice inpatient unit; however, on occasions you will work in the community responding to calls (including out of hours) from patients at the end of their life and their families. You will deliver individualised care to our patients and support their families/carers to enable them to be cared for in their preferred place of care.  
 
The Mountbatten Coordination Centre will operate alongside and support existing core services such as GP’s, community nurses, specialist nurses and social care practitioners. It will also act as a single point of access for our specialist care service. There will be access to our 24/7 advice and support line manned by experienced and professional staff. The Mountbatten Coordination Centre team will rapidly respond to situations where delay to act for people at the end of life may add additional distress.
 
You will have at least one year’s post registration experience and ideally hold a post qualifying qualification related to palliative and end of life care

Although hours for these roles are flexible, it will include Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays

Assistant Shop Manager

37.5 hours per week over 5 days (will include weekend hours) 

£16,362.00 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Shop Manager to provide support at our Lugley Street shop; working alongside a tight knit team of staff and volunteers to appropriately and effectively manage the day-to-day organisation of all retail activities including our KissyPuppy partnership.
                                                                                               
Previous managerial experience within the retail sector is essential, as is a real commitment to recruiting and working with volunteers who are the backbone of our retail business.
