Database & Information Officer
 
37.5 hours per week – permanent contract
£20,300 per annum pro rata
 

As the post holder you will manage and analyse relevant databases aligned to the Hospice’s fundraising systems, providing expertise and advice to the Head of Income Generation.  You will have experience in handling multiple data sets which will support the analysis of information to provide evaluation and guidance on placement of fundraising activities.  You will be responsible for the management and administration of the DonorFlex system, ensuring that all the data is accurate.  You will also be responsible for all gift aid administration and for supporting direct marketing campaigns.
This role demands personal credibility and integrity together with well-developed communication, advanced data analysis and IT skills.  You will have the ability to work both with autonomy and as part of a wider integrated team.  You will also be self-motivated, have good people skills as effective team work is essential and have strong organisational and project management skills.
You will be qualified to degree level or hold a professional qualification or possess equivalent relevant experience for the role.  Training will be provided for the right candidate on all our databases and systems.  It is essential that you have a proven understanding of CRM databases and SQL and Microsoft Excel proficiency.

RGN’s and Community Nurse Team Members

If you have ever wondered what it was like to care for patients in the Hospice setting or at home then this is the ideal opportunity for you.  We have vacancies for qualified Nurses to join our as Bank Nurses working within our Inpatient Unit and Clinical team based in the Community.
 
Your hours will be flexible and derived by the needs of the service and ideally have palliative care and/or community experience to fulfil the requirements of this post.  Full driving licence is required for any community based work.

Earl Mountbatten Hospice Personal Care Team

Would you like to help care for frail people in their own homes during the last year of life? 

If so, we are looking for kind, compassionate and experienced people to join our dynamic and developing team of domiciliary carers who look after people who are dying in their own homes. We offer an induction and bespoke training which is underpinned by our mission, vision and our values. Initially, you will work as part of our committed bank of carers and will have the opportunity to work flexibly across all of the care services across the Hospice. This may be during the day or overnight. Our intention is to grow this service as quickly as possible. Excellent hourly rates and travel expenses apply.

Some experience of working in the Community would be an advantage. Car driver with access to a vehicle essential.
